Course Description
This course is taught by professional artist Elli Milan. She shares the techniques she uses when painting with acrylics. Elli has been creating and selling her artwork since 1996 and is the founder of the Milan Art Institute.
In this course, you will learn the traditional methods of creating representational acrylic paintings. It will increase your confidence as you acquire the techniques needed to gain mastery in these essential skills. This course will empower you to create lifelike imagery regardless of what subject matter you choose. You will be inspired to create the acrylic paintings you’ve always desired!
Structure of the course:
- Introduction
- Lesson 1 – Washes and Subtraction
- Lesson 2 – Glazing with Transparent Paint and Blocking In
- Lesson 3 – Finishing touches with Opaques and Brushwork for Realistic Effects
The videos range from about 10-25 minutes long. This course includes 1 painting project which will take the student between 5 and 6 hours to complete.
