Expressive Portrait Drawing

Dimitra Milan, a master at drawing and painting portraits, will share the methods she uses every day in her own art. She will begin by focusing on the techniques required to draw a portrait accurately and with realistic proportions. This is a skill that you can learn and, with practice, become masterful at drawing and painting beautiful, realistic portraits.

Additionally, Dimitra will instruct how to create form with mark-making. This technique adds depth and character to your portraits. She will demonstrate both the technique and tools she uses to create texture, light, and shadow. 

Finally, as Dimitra adds the finishing touches to her portrait, she will show you how to use water-soluble crayons to give a watercolor effect. Using these techniques, you can create beautifully expressive portraits that your collectors will love!
